Palenque ruins

We got to the Palenque ruins at around 9:30 in the morning, one and a half hour after it opened, and it was already bustling with visitors. The humidity and heat also made it hard to fully focus on the marvels laid out in front of us. But it was still, of course, wonderful. The trick is to take many breaks and drink lots of water and to not mind being constantly soaked in sweat.

Personally I almost like the domestic structures best, probably because they are hidden deeper into the jungle, and even have trees growing on top of them. There were also almost no other visitors in this section when we were there.
